The goal of this project was to salvage and modify a California Bungalow to meet the needs of a young family. Originally the house was a dark, cold and bitsy warren of rooms.

The primary focus of the renovation was the creation of a large vaulted ceiling volume to the rear living/dining/kitchen and a reconfiguration of the front rooms to achieve 3 bedrooms, ensuite and family bathroom. With no additional internal area added the transformation was achieved through intelligent space planning, increase volume and the maximisation of light.
